Abstract: In this paper, the concept of project pedagogy, implementation process and related issues, in combination with tourism management courses, to explore what is known in Tourism Management and effective use of project teaching methods to enhance the effectiveness of education and teaching, students practice and other capacities, for the growing tourism industry develop a highly skilled talent.
The 21st century, China’s tourism industry into the boom period of development, according to the World Tourism Organization predicts that by 2020 China will become the world’s largest destination and the fourth largest tourist source country. With the development of tourism, China’s urgent need for a large number of tourism professionals, at present all kinds of secondary, colleges and universities have opened a tourism management professional, to meet the growing tourism industry. As a vocational school in tourism management education teachers, deeply Tourism Management is currently the standard of teaching of vocational education is not high, in teaching theory can not practice, train the students found jobs can not set foot on more practical and hands-on the capacity of poor. For this phenomenon are many reasons to change this situation, as a teacher is necessary to improve classroom teaching methods to enhance the effectiveness of teaching and improve student learning enthusiasm and initiative.
