Chromosomal analysis of selected lines of Drosophila melanogaster with a new level of bristle canalization.docVIP

All three main interactions to the increase in bristle number, and chromo- some 3 has the highest contribution to this increase. Chromosome 1 and/or 2 are, instead, primarily responsible for bristle canalization in the scutum in these lines.
