BodyweightandabdominalfatweremeasuredontheF2 at9wkofage.Ineachsirefamily, selectivegenotypingwascarriedoutfor48extremeindividualsforabdominalfatusingseven microsatellitemarkersfromGGA5.QTLanalysescon?rmedthepresenceofQTLforfatness onGGA5andidenti?edaQTLbysexinteraction.
