Abstract: The differences between English and Chinese thinking patterns and the resulting formation of two kinds of linguistic features in the morphology, syntax, reflected the different chapters, etc., demonstrating the differences in thinking on the impact of college English writing. Understand the difference between two kinds of thinking and exploring to master English writing features, to better improve students writing skills in English has an important role.

Over the years, many scholars from the English contrast, migration to explore the perspectives of theory and pedagogy of teaching English writing, such as Teng Chunhong, [1] Yang Yuchen and Wen Zhao-Rong, [2] Wu, Zhang in the new [3] and so on. These studies raise the standard of teaching college English writing is very instructive, but few studies involving more than Chinese students writing in English by the English mentality differences. As the thinking and language is closely related to Chinese students inevitably the Chinese the habit of thinking applied to writing in English to go write an essay to “the Chinese thought the English form” in English writing, though, Wang Ping, Wen-Jie Liu [4], etc. studies have dealt with this issue, but not go far enough. In this paper, differences between English and Chinese thinking in this point of view as a starting point, further, the detailed analysis and exploration of differences between English and Chinese thinking in college English writing in the practical implications of proposed measures to overcome such effects, to improve the students English Writing capacity.
