Abstract: Germ cells ex ist in an environm ent created by Ser toli cells . T he diff er entiation of g er m cells fro m sperm atogonia to sperm in
t he sem iniferou s epithelium is controlled by m any f actors such as hormones, grow th f actors, temperature and interaction w ith Sertoli
cells . Paracrine signaling betw een these intim ately associated cells also regulates the process of germ cell death . Sertoli cells produ ct s
play an important r ole in the process of germ cell diff erentiation in the testis, in w hich both the spontaneous and induced g er m cell
