But it came to the center and took a primary position after the May 4 Movement. Using Evan- Zohars polysystem theory in combination with the Chinese cultural context, this paper tries to analyze the changeof the position of the Chinese translated literature and its reason as well as the role and in- th fluence of the translated literature at that time.
