Through the construction of the life tables for both strains , the effects of different temperatures on the experimental population growth were evaluated. The nymphal survival rate , adult emergence rate , copulation rate , fecundity and egg hatchability of both strains were lower ( ) at 32 ℃and 18 ℃than at 25 ℃. Population trend indexes I of the susceptible strain at 25 ℃, 32 ℃and 18 ℃were 1643 , 267 and 585 respectively , while the indexes of the resistant strain at these temperatures were 814 , 95 and 230 .
