Abstract: According to unfavourable effect on structure having been reconstructed and decorated,
the analysis of these disadvantages is given from the point of structural view point. The paper
pointed out that the safety of masonry structured dw elling houses not only depends on their
bearing capacity of every member itself, but also stability, durability and aseismatic capacity of the
w hole structure, its aim is to decrease or avoid engineering accident to happen.
