Guilin Univ. of Electronic Tech. , Guilin541004 , China) Abstract:Field work , oral history and social behavioral analysis of peoples participation in sports were made as seen from Tianyang Lion Dance. It showed that individual , ethnicity , sub groups , local government , and the country were support ive of Tianyang Lion Dance , which promoted it and led to the changes of it. The changes indicated that the human beings sports behavior was not fixed as instrumental rationality , that it could change from value rationality into instrumental ra- tionality.
