The Second Aff iliated H osp ital of Wenzhou M ed ical Co lleg e, W enzhou 325027, Ch ina ) ABSTRACT: BJECTIVE To analyze the characteristics and relative factors of allergic shock induced by ceftriaxone sodium, in order to provide reference for the clinical use of ceftriaxone sodium properly. METH DS The 71 reported cases of allergic shock induced by ceftriaxone sodium in hina over 14 years w ere retrospectively analyzed. RESULTS eftriaxone sodium could induce allergic shock, and the severe case could cause death. C NCLUSI N W e should control the drug indication strictly, check patients drug allergy history carefully before prescription, especially patients associated w ith basic diseases, monitor adverse drug reaction ( ADR) afterw ards, promote clinical rational drugusage, and prevent death.
