Abscessesexhibitedlowdensityinthecentersandenhancementintheperipheralwall.sThelesionswerefound inmasticatorspaces(14 cases), thespacesbetweenmusclesenvelopedbydeepcervicalfasciae(7 cases), thespacesofmouthfloors(6 cases), visceralspaces(6 cases), carotidspaces(5 cases), retropharyngeal spaces(4 cases), suprahyoidandinfrahyoidspaces3 case,sandperitonsillarspace(1 caseofperitonsillitis). Amongthelesion,s5 casesofdescendingnecrotizingmediastinitiswereobserved.Theinfectionscouldspread intocommunicatedspacesanddownwardintothemediastinumandpleuralcavityandcouldinvolveadjacent structure.sConclusion　MSCTcanbeusedtodiagnosetheinfectionsofmaxillofacialandneckfascialspac
