厦门大学马来西亚分校办学之SWOT分析 　　关键词：海外办学；SWOT分析；中马经济发展；马来西亚高等教育 摘要：将于2016年开办的厦门大学马来西亚分校是由厦门大学主办、中国政府明确支持的中国第一所海外大学，是秉承陈嘉庚先生无私办学精神、回馈马来西亚社会的非盈利大学。运用SWOT分析，发现：从优势角度看，分校建设过程中引发了海外华人兴资助学热情，弘扬了嘉庚精神；从劣势角度看，分校需承受来自于世界一流大学在马来西亚创办分校的竞争压力；从机遇角度看，恰逢中国-东盟及中马经济战略调整之际，分校可确立的研究项目具有实际意义与战略价值；从挑战角度看，分校办学必须突破传统思维模式。近观远望，中国高校海外办学是中国高等教育国际化进程的重要里程碑，值得关注 中图分类号：G649.2文献标志码：A文章编号：1009-4474（2015）06-0059-07 SWOT Analysis on the Operation of Xiamen University Malaysia Campus GUO Jie （English Department， Xiamen University Tan Kah Kee College， Zhangzhou 363105， China） Key words： overseas operation； SWOT analysis； SinoMalaysia economic development； Malaysian higher education Abstract： Set to open in 2016， the Malaysia Campus sponsored by Xiamen University is the first overseas university under the support of the Chinese government. The establishment of such a campus is in line with the universitys founding father Mr. Tan Kah Kees philosophy of selfless donation to education and a nonprofit exercise in reciprocating the Malaysian society. With SWOT analysis， the thesis reveals that from the perspective of Strength the process of Campus construction has provoked the enthusiasm of overseas Chinese in financing education and promoted Tan Kah Kee spirit overseas； from that of Weakness， the Campus has to sustain pressure of competition from Malaysia campuses founded by the world firstclass universities； from that of Opportunity， against the backdrop of SinoASEAN and SinoMalaysia economic strategy adjustment， research projects established by the Campus have gained practical significance and strategic value； from that of Threat， the operation of the Campus has to transform from traditional thinking mode. From both retrospective and prospective views， overseas education initiated by Chinese university is a remarkable milestone in the internationalization of Chinas higher education and should be paid close attention to. 近年来，随着国际地位逐步提升，我国与东南亚地区的经济、政治、文化、教育等交流与合作日益加强。2012年初，马来西亚高教部与中国教育部协商选定厦门
