ATA Spec 100: Manufacturers Technical Data Last Revision: Revision 37; 1999 Spec 100 is the industrys recommended format and content standard for technical manuals written by aviation manufacturers and suppliers, and is used by airlines and other segments of the industry in the maintenance of the respective products. This document provides the industry-wide numbering system for aircraft systems, often referred to as system or chapter numbers. The formatting and content standards define the data prepared as conventional printed documentation for electronic documentation see Spec 2100.
