Abstract
The night scene of Shanghai World Expo was gorgeous. Buildings lighting played a revolutionary role to
embody the culture and character of the buildings. In this paper ，from the perspective of building character ，
through cases analysis ，personality differences between day and night of buildings was studied and
concluded . At the end ，some suggestions for design model of integrating the character of the building day
and night were given .
