This process is determined by both environmental and endogenous factors. The regulating mech- anisms of fl owering pathways have been studied extensively in Arabidopsis thaliana , Oryza sativa and several fl owering plants. Seven pathways, vernalization pathway, thermosensory pathway, photoperiod pathway, gib- berellin (GA) pathway, autonomous pathway, repression pathway and aging pathway were involved in fl ower- ing control. This review summarizes recent progresses in controlled fl owering time, and provides a foundation for molecular and physiological research on fl oral control.
