Sequence analysis showed that the full2length cDNA of TaLSD1was 1 024 bp, which encoded a polypeptide of 146 amino acids with three conserved motifs ( C C R LMY GAS V C C) . Phylogenetic tree indicated that TaLSD1 might share a common ancestor with other LSD1 type zinc finger protein genes which contained three con2 served LSD1 type zinc finger motifs in rice (Oryza sativa) , turnip (Brassica rapa) and Arabidopsis (Ara2 bidopsisthaliana) , whereas it had a further r elationship with other homologous genes with differ ent num2 ber of LSD1 type zinc finger motifs.
