Compared with stable expression, transient expression is speedy. On the other hand, exogenous gene doesnt integrate into the host chromosome, so it wont be inherited. We briefly introduced the main methods of plant transient expression technology, including their principles, technique procedures, influencing factors, and applications. This technology could be widely employed in the synthesis of many plant derived biologicals, clone and analysis of the transcrip⁃ tion
