Contrast between drama and novel Novel, by definition, is a fictitious prose narrative of book length, representing characters’ relationship, destiny, behavior, thought and emotions through plot and environment. We usually read novel instead of drama. Drama is a story people act out on a stage before spectators which means that play is “not really a piece of literature for reading”. Considering this fundamental contrast, I want to propose two different senses. These two literary genres render me.
