16.reward (1)名词“报酬，奖赏” as a reward=in reward 作为奖赏，作为报答 He helped his mother do housework, as a reward, he received a big apple. He got a reward for helping them. (2) 动词“酬谢，奖赏” They rewarded the winners with gifts.
