T K Y 100088 T K Y STUDY ON THE TECHNOLOGY OF ULTRASONIC TESTING OF T- K- Y-SHAPED TUBULAR WELDED CONNECTIONS MA De-zhi SHEN Xian-hui DUAN Bin Central Research Institute of Building Construction of MCC Abstract The technology of ultrasonic testing on T- K- Y-shaped tubular welded connections is studied in this paper. With the computer aided program, we can divide the weld seam into different test areas select the probe with properly refraction angle and locate the position of defects. Practice proved that with this method, we can improve the testing ratio of defects and can get well effect in the quality control of T- K- Y-shaped tubular welded connections.
