A displacement transducer located close to the impact point is to monitor the surface displacements caused by the arri al of t he reflected w a es. T he analysis of displacement wa eform can be perform ed in the time domain or in the frequcncy domain that can be used to locate default in concrete . - - structures The use of impact echo method for non destructi c t est ing of thickness and flaw s of concrete was discussed in t his paper .
