初中英语词汇教学方法 2(国外英文资料) Method Without enough vocabulary, you cant communicate effectively in English without listening, speaking, reading and writing effectively. It is very important to strengthen vocabulary teaching in junior high school. This paper tries to explore the vocabulary teaching methods from the combination of the three forms of pronunciation, shape and meaning, the two-way teaching of words and sentences, and metaphorical cognition, so as to improve the students ability to learn and use vocabulary. Vocabulary is one of the three elements of language. Human thinking activities are carried out by means of words, and human communication is also achieved through the formation of sentences by words. According to the English curriculum standards, junior high school graduates should learn to use 1500~1600 words and 200~300 idioms or regular collocation. However, in teaching, we find that a considerable number of students do not reach the required vocabulary, so that their interest and enthusiasm in learning English are directly affected. Therefore, it is necessary to improve the teaching methods and adopt various forms and flexible methods to carry out vocabulary teaching.
