(1) logical meaning Logical meaning reflects the relation between statement and reality. In logic, it is usually analyzed by true and false values. From the perspective of linguistics, logic and meaning of the sentence is composed of words in the sentence meaning and semantic relation among them, does not involve the grammatical properties of words in the sentence. If the following three sentences have the same logical meaning, they are logically equivalent. (1) Xiao Wang broke the cup. (2) Xiao Wang broke the glass. (3) the cup was broken by Xiao wang. The grammatical structure of the three sentences each are not identical, but the words the three sentences in the same meaning, semantic relations are the same, break is the action, Wang is the agent, the cup is patient. Action, the agent is the logical meaning. (two) grammatical meaning The grammatical meaning of a sentence is expressed by the grammatical form of a word. It is expressed mainly by the grammatical form, function word or word order of the word. As in the preceding three sentences, Xiao Wang is sometimes subject, sometimes adverbial; Cup is sometimes the object, sometimes subject, and sometimes adverbial. Subject and so forth are grammatical meanings. In
