美国大学教育的七大原则与教学评估(国外英文资料) The seven principles and teaching evaluation of American university education Abstract: the United States conducted a systematic study of higher education in 1980s and published the seven principles of university education in 1987. The article introduces the main contents of the seven principles, relevant research, implementation proposals and the teaching evaluation based on them. Key words: university education; seven principles; teaching evaluation With the acceleration of the process of economic globalization and the popularization of higher education, higher education has become the focus of attention. Public attention to higher education is usually expressed in the form of questioning higher education performance. Educational performance includes many aspects, one of which is the teaching effect. In the United States, the standard test scores, graduation design quality, retention rates, graduation rates have been the indicators of teaching effectiveness evaluation. These indicators are often referred to as terminal evaluation indicators, because these indicators reveal the results of the teaching rather than the teaching process. However, in the past 20 years, higher education institutions have paid more and more attention to the evaluation of the teaching process while adopting terminal evaluation indicators. This trend is based on the idea that effective teaching is bound to lead to good teaching outcomes. Then, what kind of teaching process can bring good teaching results? Or, in what kind of campus environment can students really learn something? The seven principles of university education, which came out in the United States in 1987, have been summarized and explained. I.
