Humanistic curriculum theory advocates to develop the whole person and self-realization, people think education is going to cultivate is the physical, mental, emotional, mental, psychic together a whole person. Humanism people-centric, pay attention to persons subjective dynamic role, humanism at the highest level of maslows hierarchy of needs theory is the pursuit of self-realization, traditional education of our country is only attach importance to the cultivation of students knowledge and skills, ignore students emotional education and the cultivation of personality and didnt put students as a detailed, complete, has the feelings of the people to treat, the serious influence the harmonious development of students body and mind, humanism pay close attention to the cultivation of the students emotion will and good personality, causes the student to the development of the inherent psychological potential fully, realize their own value, to be conform to the social needs is talent.
Humanistic course emphasizes learning. I agree with that. Meaningful learning emphasizes students understanding of knowledge, students need not forced, obediently dull and trivial, left practice while learning the teaching material, but in large range to choose learning materials; Arrange your own situation; Raise your own questions and determine your own learning process; Care about your choices. This way of learning can arouse the students autonomy and love to learn more.
