Abstract Lockes personal identity theory is different from the persons identity theory and the identity of the soul theory; He believes that consciousness determined the personal identity. Personality is the the main responsibility for law, morality, and the trial; and the the main responsibility when human face of Armageddon. Leibniz based on Locke’s theory, but he puts “consciousness” aside. He believes that the spiritual monad is able to maintain a personal identity; In addition, he adds the epitaxial of memory standard, that memories can have errors, interruptions and forgotten, this does not affect personal identity; Leibniz also introduced others as testimony in personal identity. To some extent, he developed Lockes theory. Hume focused on the concept of consciousness and personality. On his own ideas of idealism and the impression first principle ,he believes that human being have the ability to imagine and Legend ,and In the world there have Three relationships - similar relationships, connecting relation and Causal relationship ;the so called “personal identity” is caused by this reason. Because of the three relationships and imagination, Human produced the personal identity hypothesis. Humes discussion attempts to digestion the personal identity theory, But the researchers show more interest in this question .In modern times, the personality identity theory cannot be ignored in philosophy of mind, moral philosophy, bioethics, psychology and other files. In the end of the paper, I explore the identity standards, and pointed out that the sustainable existence of the personality in other sense; and noted the unity of the individuals is more important.
