Words: lorry, noise, loud, television, radio, quiet
Structures: What’s that noise? Is it……? It’s lound /quiet.
Further aims: 把所教矩形用与生活实际中。 培养学生听说能力。 教学过程Teaching Procedure Pre-task Activities
Step 1 Daily Talk
Questions: 1. What day is today?
2. How are you?
3. What are you?
4. What’s your sister’s name?
5. What’s your brother’s name?
Step 2
Ask and answer: What can you hear?(放录音)
T: What can you hear? (汽车声)
P: I can hear a bus.
Practice in pairs: What can you hear? I can hear…… While-task Activities
Step 1
Step 1: Put the cards on the board: an aeroplane, a drill, a telephone, a car, a bus
(Teach: What’s that noise?)
Step 2: Ask students imitate the sound of objects/
P: Imitate the sound of drill.
T: Listen! What’s that noise? Is it a drill?
P: Yes, it’s a drill.
Read: What’s that noise? Practice in pairs.
Step 3
Teach words: loud, quiet
T: Listen! What’s that noise? (飞机声)
P: It’s an aeroplane.
T: I don’t like it. It’s loud. 引出loud. 同时引出quiet.
Make sentences with loud, quiet. Post-task Activities
Step 1
Listen to the tape.

2 pupils a group to make dialogues.
