AIDS recorder, real objects, courseware PROCEDURES CONTENTS METHODS PURPOSE 1. Pre-task Preparation 1. Greetings: 2. Sing a song and say a rhyme. 3. Free talk: T: Good morning, boys and girls. Ss: Good morning, Miss zhang. Songs: My nice ruler Rhyme: I like my bike. 1. Hello .What’s your name?... 2. How are you, …?... 3. Thats my (new)… 4. Is that a taxi?... Create the language environments. PROCEDURES CONTENTS METHODS PURPOSE 2. While-task Procedure 1. Revision Words and sentence structure of this unit. 2. Play a game: 3. Exercise: Activity book Take out some real objects to review the new words and sentence structure. LIKE: Is that a taxi? Yes, yes, it is. No, no, it isn’t. a) T Put 4 pictures on the blackboard. First, ask two students to come to the blackboard ,one point to one of the pictures and ask ” Is that a taxi?” The other one answers the question: Yes, it is./ No, it isn’t . b) T write the chant we have learnt on the blackboard ,”A, a, name; B, b, book; ... Let the Ss to read one by one. Do the exercise on 20: T explains how to do the exercise. T plays the tape. Ss listen to the tape and do the exercise. Consolidate the new words and sentence structure. Make Ss learn English through the game. Develop Ss’ listening, drawing, understanding and speaking skills. PROCEDURES CONTENTS METHODS PURPOSE 3.Post-task Activities 1. Watch and say: 2.
