中国美术学院—陶瓷与工艺美术系—张维纳—陶瓷饰物初探 Abstract Chinese ceramics is Chinas national essence,which is from the earth, and born in fire. It’s enriched and matured with the development of human histroy. In ancient times, ceramics ornaments had already appeared, and with the development of history, ceramics and glass ornaments have aslo been developed. Untill today, in clothing, it has been more common to have ceramic buttons, pectoral, pendant and other forms as decoration and embellishment, for instance: ceramic beads, tiles, ceramic blocks for baldric, ceramic jewelry withnot glazing, Polymer clay jewelry, enamel jewelry and ceramic package insert jewelry which had been popular since the early nineties of last century and so on.In the modern fashion design, ceramic ornaments could be used not only as a single jewelry, but aslo could form a complete piece of clothing by enlarging its quantity and area. What’s more, take woven fabrics( silk for example) as its supporting material, through the stringing, and linking, weaving and other methods, we could design a complete clothing.This kind of design is rare. In the original ceramic creation, methods as adding pulp into the mud, hanging over and firing the glazing could be applied to the molding.This kind of special design is the self-interpretation of the designer to the practical art, and aslo his individuality publicize; it is a personal feeling for the aesthetic, and the exploration and innovation on fashion design.
