Further promoting the construction of new urbanization in China, the process of farmers’ citizenization needs to be promoted. And the farmers’ citizenization has been differentiated, and it has been divided into peasant workers’ citizenization, suburban land lost farmers’ citizenization and rural residents’ citizenization. Under the background of the differentiation of peasant citizen groups, the connotation and current situation of farmers’ citizenization is expounded. The restrictive factors of farmers’ citizenization and the path selection of farmers’ citizenization are analyzed.
