Patterns – Profile user, device and location behaviors in great detail so it can quickly be accessed by the rules for risk evaluation. Once configured the patterns automatically create buckets as needed and maintain membership of the buckets. User Profile – Each user has a personal profile that automatically records their usage of devices and locations for use in rules. No configuration is required. Rules – Specific statistical rules evaluate the pattern buckets, groups and user profiles to determine risk. Once configured the rules do not normally need to be edited. Configurable Actions – Membership of specific groups can be automatically maintained by configurable actions triggered by the rules. Traveling users is an example of a group that might be maintained automatically.
