The Publisher/subscriber communication architecture, process bus[4] which is the base of the transmission of the two types of IEC message, is analyzed in depth. On the basis of the experimental platform of the process bus communication applied to the 61850 SAV transnission of the transformer differential protection, the mechanism of the sampled values and trip signals is revealed, GOOSE SAV and a practical scheme is proposed to ensure the Quality of the GOOSE Service of the communication. The researching result is valuable for process bus communication design of the new substation automation system.
