The main point is to explore the moderate effect of trust on the relationship. Methods: 308 university teachers in Shandong province were surveyed using the Emotional Labor Questionnaire, Organizational Commitment Scale and Trust Scale. Results: Deep emotional labor (r = 0.28, p 0.01), natural emotional labor (r = 0.33, p 0.01) and surface emotional labor (r = 0.12, p 0.05) were all significantly correlated with organizational commitment. The college teachers scored highly on the organizational commitment (4.57 ± 1.00). The surface emotional labor (β= 0.21, p 0.01), the deep emotional labor (β= 0.14, p 0.01) and natural emotional labor (β= 0.32, p 0.01) all positively predict the organizational commitment. Trust moderates the relationship between deep emotional labor and organizational commitment (β= 0.38, p 0.01). Conclusion: Emotional labor was negatively correlated with organizational commitment.
