S chool of En v ironment al S ci ence and E ng i neer ing , Chan g’an Univ er sity , X i’an 10054, S haan x i, Ch ina) Abstract:In order to study the effect of waste rock piling on water environment, the character of w ater quality change after the w aste rock is dipped into w ater is analyzed by eluviation experiment. The process, mechanism and factors of derivative environmental effect of w aste rock is investigated. The dynamic change mechanisms of SO2- , gross rigidity, micromental irons in acidic solution are discussed, which are usually neglected. It was 4 pointed out that w aste rocks not only make the w ater acid, but also make SO2- and gross rigidity increase, and 4 waste rocke should be piled up reasonably, and the local geographical, climatic and hydrographical conditions must be considered w hen piling, w hich can insure the reduction of environmental pollution.
