The watermark, w th the features of the PDF character codes, s embedded nto the document by mod fy ng the char acter spaces. The authent c ty of a PDF document can be ver f ed by compar ng the watermark w th the features of character codes. The exper mental results demonstrate that the w atermarked PDF document possesses good perceptual transparence, and that the proposed algor thm can detect any character change at the PDF document at the block lev el.
