Abstract Criminal record storage system is a new content added to 2012 Criminal Procedure Law, its aim is to protect minors and to promote the minors to return to the society. At the same time it is also the measures of crime prevention. Criminal record storage is not just a simple fragment in the criminal justice process, it aims at a kind of social effect. But the provisions on the system is relatively simple, there are a lot of legislative blank in the legal text, with only a few simple rules to achieve such a huge social effect obviously is not realistic.From the existing academic achiecements, the related research focused on building the procedure. However, in the huge juvenile justice system, each system are to each other, the effect they aim at are the same, there is no substitute for cooperation with each other. From the asepect of the criminal prosecution stage, criminal record storage belongs to the criminal execution stage, its attention should be the implement effect. At present, criminal record storage system in China can not meet the requirements, it must be improved in practice.2012 Criminal Procedure Law has just come into force soon, it is a good opportunity to improve the juvenile criminal record storage system. Therefore, the author conduct an empirical study on the operation status of the juvenile criminal record storage systems in practice, find the problems, put forward some improvement suggestions, at the same time, try to drive the development of relevant systems, to achieve the social effect of treating minors. In addition to the introduction of this article and epilogue, the paper is divided into three parts , about three thousand words . This paper introduces the general situation of the juvenile criminal record storage system in the first part.
