Abstract AAbbssttrraacctt Li Shangyin was a famous writer in late Tang Dynasty. His poetry and essay is the art cohesion of his life. His poetry which is exquisite and sentimental was widely spread. The Pianwen which inherited Six Dynasty, influenced Early Song, spread far and widely in the Ming andQingDynasties,occupiedapivotalpositionintheChinesePianwenhistory. This paper is divided into five parts: Introduction introduce the significance of selecting this topic of the paper, discuss Li Shang-yin pianwenpresent Research situation, describe the author’s creationpointswhichintentto. Part one will discuss the life-long and officer experiences of Lishangyin, describe the basic modelofthePianwen.Fromtheinfluenceoftheimperialexaminationsystem,thetrajectory ofhis life in Mufu , decline of the classical prose movement and own characteristics of Pianwen four spectaclesinterprettheinsideandoutsidereasonofLiShangyinengagedincreationofPianwen. Parttwo will presentthe contentofLiShangyin’sPianwen.Firsthaveastatisticsfromthequantity and then divide Pianwen into three categories according to the stylistic, namely Biao,ZhuangQi and JIwen. Each stylistic is divided according to the ideological content in order to have a comprehensive understanding on Pianwen of Li Shang-yin. Because Lishangyin has ghost- written many passages, so the author divided this passage according to different people to show theemotionalcontentofLiShang-yin’sPianwen. Part three will focus on artistic characteristics. Mainly from dual Handicraft, abundant Allusions, combined style of Pianwen with essay to discuss Pianwen Characteristics of Li Shang- yin. The Pianwen of Li Shang-yin are most practical .What about the artistic, how artistic is embodied in his practical articles and how short entertainment articles is formed perfunctorily is discussedaswell. Part four will discuss the value and influence of Li Shang-yin’
