Concentration of Industry After 26 yeas construction and development, Tianjin development area has been one of the largest scale and the most efficient economic-tech zone at the fastest speed. By the end of 2010, Tianjin new area has attracted 74 foreign-investment enterprises from different countries and areas, and the total gross assets amount to $62.27 billion, and the contract foreign investment is $ 46.273 billion. Among the projects, there are 882 worth of $10 million, and the average investment quota amounts to 12.7734 million. The number of project investment over $100 million is 52, and there are 9546 domestic enterprises in the development area, with registered capital of $1770.69 billion. The number of domestic enterprises reached to 1757 with over 10 million registered capital. In 2010，total industrial output value of development area is ￥510.1 billion and the number of employee reached to 420,000. In 2010，78 multination corporations of Fortune 500 invested 166 enterprises in the Development Area.
