You look pale. What’s the matter? Bruce: Well, I have a headache and a cough. Mr. Lee: I’m sorry to hear that. Maybe you have the flu. Bruce: Oh, I’m feeling terrible! Mr. Lee: You’d better go to see a doctor. Shall I take you to the hospital? Bruce: No, thank you. I’ll take some medicine and see how it goes. Type of lesson: aural-oral lesson Teaching aids: Blackboard, chalk, PPT, white papers Contents: 1. Main vocabulary: 1) New words: headache, cough, flu, medicine, pale 2) Learned words: terrible, fine, good, such adjectives used to describe physical condition 3) Vocabulary Expansion: stomach, toothache, backache, fever, sore throat Main structures: What’s the matter with you?
