Occupation development management includes two aspects: one is the employee occupation development of self management, employees are the masters of their own, self management is the key to the success of occupation development; on the other hand is the occupation career planning organizations to assist employees, and provide the necessary education, training, rotation and other development opportunities for employees to promote employee occupation career goals. In recent years, many organizations have the occupation development management as to attract employees or organizational culture propaganda tool for the hype, but in practice really can organize occupation development management in place is less and less. The State Council Development Research Center released in 2004 China human resources development report shows that the sample enterprises, only 274 companies have expressly released employee occupation career development plan, for the total sample 15%; of which only 132 companies according to the plan, the total sample of 7.2% enterprises occupy the effect; not according to the system implementation the companies have 142, accounting for 7.8% of the total effective sample.
