U nder the M iddle C lass P eop les efforts from dow n to up , th e F em ale E du cation w as rising gradu ally. T he Q in g D yn asty had to con form to th e trend of develop ing circum stances and adm itted and supported th e F em ale E ducation gradu ally. H en ce in th e b eginn ing of th e 20 C entury, the F em ale E du cation w as springin g up v igorou sly, under th e efforts of tw o stren gth es of from dow n to up and from up to dow n . U nder th e M iddle C lass P eop les active proposition , the anti-F oot B inding C am paign h ad also m ade great strides. T h e M iddle C lass P eop le and th e gov ernm ent had po inted ou t th e danger of th e F oot B indin g and th e founding of the anti-F oot B in ding m ass organ ization s had elim inated lots of m isgiv ings.
