We introduce the principles and structures of several kinds of novel integrated ion sensors , including the integrated ion sensors based on surface optical potential technique and the integrated ion sensors array on chemical ,optical principle , develope the micro structural ion sensors using fabrication techniques on silicon techniques , discuss the signal processing and pattern recog nition algorithms and design a novel electronic tongue instrument for detection heavy metal ions in seawater . This paper gives some experiment results in environmental detection of electronic tongue .
