First is the inclusion of a much improved management interface in the form of an MMC that acts as the management interface for both DFS replication and DFS namespace. The second big change is the new replication algorithm DFS uses which makes replication more efficient moving forward. Another key change has to do with the name – DFS-N (namespace) and DFS-R (replication) are the two new DFS components and provide a new way of referring to this technology. The core changes and improvements to DFS can be summarized in f
