中国联塑 聚氯乙烯(PVC)知识(国外英文资料) Polyvinyl chloride is the most characteristic flame retardant, so it is widely used in fire protection applications. But polyvinyl chloride releases hydrogen chloride and other toxic gases, such as dioxins, in the process of burning. The combustion of PVC is divided into two steps. The hydrogen chloride gas and the diene containing double bonds are first decomposed at 240 DEG C -340 DEG C, and then carbon combustion occurs at 400-470 DEG C. Physical and chemical properties Stable; not susceptible to acid or base corrosion; relatively resistant to heat PVC is flame retardant (flame retardant is 40 or above), chemical resistance (resistance to high concentrated hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid concentration of 90%, concentration of nitric acid and sodium hydroxide concentration of 20% 60%), has the advantages of good mechanical strength and electrical insulation. But its heat resistance is poor, softening point is 80 degrees, at 130 degrees, it begins to decompose, change color, and precipitate HCI.
