For realizing the couple between tw o algorithms, an equivalent acceleration impulse w as substituted for the real impact. Based on a real accident, a three dimension mult-i body model including dummy, vehicle and ground was established. Using the coupling method, the kinematics of tw o occupants involved in the acc-i dent w as reconstructed, and the influence of the momentum exchange time w as also considered. T he feas-i bility of this method w as verified by the forensic medical identification.
