扩展Linux虚拟机硬盘、分区一例(国外英语资料) Extend Linux virtual machine hard disk, partition example When I deploy the Linux virtual machine to a customer, I typically make a separate partition to store all the data for the customer and name it data. The default size of the/data partition is 35G, and as time goes on, some clients ask for expanded/data partitioning requirements. Here are my steps for implementing ESX4.0: Note: in production environment, must do the backup before doing operation! 1) turn off the Linux virtual machine and run the vmkfstools command to extend the VMDK file. The original size is 50G, and now it extends to 65G. Vmkfstools - X 65 g CentOS53 VMDK Starting the Linux virtual machine, you can view the new available space by following commands.
