YZ company is mainly engaged in production and operation of coal, Its development has been severely affected, also faced with the important strategic opportunities of third industrial revolution,currently the original strategy has not able to adapt to the current changes in the environment. Thus, how to utilize the scientific strategic planning to adjust the business level strategy, seize the opportunity, achieve transformation and upgrading, all has become a major issues of enterprise survival and development. In this article, firstly it introduces the current operating status of the coal business of YZ company and the strategy which has been performed in recent years. Secondly, through the analysis of the external environment, including the macro environment, competition and industry trends of domestic and international, the external environment opportunities and threats has been defined; and through the analysis of its internal resources, including coal resources, production capacity, profitability, human resources, technical resources and brand resources, the advantages and disadv
