Good evening, fellow students and teachers. In such a hot summer, we invited from Sheffield University of Haarlem sports expert Dr James David come to our school to make a wonderful report on science and technology, we come together and discuss his joy in sports, in the process of fun and its scientific content.
David James: Thank you very much for inviting me to this school to share some scientific and sports knowledge with you. My name is David James, a research center from the United Kingdom, and is actually a member of the sports research center at Sheffield university. Our main task is to design the most advanced sports equipment and equipment for the British sports delegation. What were talking about tonight is the relationship between sport and science and technology. Lets see how science and technology can make our sport lively and interesting.
Let us first take a look at the first question: how science and technology affect our physical education. If we apply science and technology to sports, sports will be different. This is a problem, a moral problem, that is to say, if we apply technology to sports, it will bring about a problem, what is more important is the performance of the athletes of our science and technology is more important. This evening Im going to introduce a couple of sports, with a question like this, about how to maintain a balance between sport and technology in these five sports.
The first sport we saw first was the 100 meter dash. Actually, it was a very simple sport. The athletes ran from the starting point at the fastest speed to see who ran so fast. Through this picture we can see, what techniques are used in the 100 meter dash, you can see the athletes wearing sports shoes, as well as track up, they are related to the composition of science and technology.
