References Intruduction of the Thesis Language researchers and teachers have placed more attention onto the individuals’ differences of the language learners, affective factors included. Attaching importance to the effect and influence of the affect factors in the process of language learning can contribute to improving the learning efficiency and success Intruduction of the Thesis The globalization makes English learning a urgent need of the present era, especially for junior middle school students. Research at home pay much attention to students in universities, a little or no attention has been paid to junior high school students, especially to students in rural areas. To focus on the affective factors of junior high school students English learning is both the needs of education and students comprehensive development. Intruduction of the Thesis This thesis studies learners’ affect in the aspects of motivation, anxiety and personality, aiming to find the problems existing in language learning, and to help teachers and students find ways to improve the learning and teaching efficiency and quality and promote students’ all-around development. The author investigates the students in a rural junior high school by recording their scrores and conduxting questinnaire and finds out students present affect situation and the correlation between affect and their English scores .
