Manual Of Flat Die Pellet Machine 1. Before using this machine, make sure all the bolts are fastened. 2. Two adjusting bolts on the two ends of the roller should be loosen first; start the machine and observe the function of the machine to see whether there is any abnormal movements. 3. Running-in of the New Flat Die Running-in of the new flat die is needed before first use. First, mix 5kg raw materials, 1kg fine sand and 1kg used oil to get running-in material. Then start the machine and put the materials in; use a wrench to adjust the bolts of the roller till uniform pellet production (Note: the clearance between the roller and the die should not be too narrow in case of any damage to the roller and die). Normal materials can be added to the machine after 1 running-in. Loosen the roller bolts a little bit if the machine can not produce pellets efficiently with normal materials. Extra method should be applied if the machine still can’t produce pellets normally after adjustment. Use a steel nail to remove all the dry materials or running-in materials in the flat die, and do the running-in again. After using the machine, oily materials should be added to the machine to fill the die holes, which will avoid blocking and save time for next time use. 4. Material: water content of the materials should be controlled between 14% to 18%. High or low water content will affect the production and quality of the pellets. Beside, the material should be well mixed with uniform water content. 5. To finish using the machine, raw material feeding should be stopped first. When all the raw materials in the compression chamber have been pressed out, add oily materials to the machine to fill the die holes, which will avoid blocking. 6. Under normal function, the bearings of the roller should be washed with gasoline or diesel oil and be added with high speed lubrication oil; bearings on the vertical shaft sho
